Entering:
The entrance to the Ministry of Magic is located inside a phone booth. Dialing 64224 (Magic) will activate a voice that will ask for your name and purpose for visiting. You could give them virtually any reasons, because Harry gained entrance just to rescue Sirius. The phone booth will spit out a badge from the coin exchange and you are suppose to wear it. Then the phone booth floor will start moving downward, and before you know it you are underground and in the Ministry of Magic.

Level Two - Department of Magical Law Enforcement
Level Three - Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes
Level Four - Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures
Level Five - Department of International Magical Cooperation
Level Six - Department of Magical Transport
Level Seven - Department of Magical Games and Sports
Level Eight - Atrium
Level Nine - Department of Mysteries

Department of Magical Games and Sports
Department head: Ludo Bagman
Members: Bertha Jorkins (Deceased)
Purpose: To organize and promote wizard games

Department of Magical Catastrophes
Members: ?
Purpose: This department is in charge of any huge catastrophes that may happen involving wizards. Whether Muggles get suspicious or see a bewitched object, this is the department to set things straight.

Department of Accidental Magic Reversal
Members: Arnold Peasegood
Purpose: To reverse spells and repair damage done by spells that went wrong.

Improper Use of Magic Office
Members: Malfalda Hopkirk
Purpose: To punish wizards/witches who abuse their magical privileges.

Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office
Members: Arthur Weasley, Perkins
Purpose: To prevent enchanted items from getting into the hands of muggles.

Committee Of Experimental Charms
Members: Gilbert Whimple
Purpose: To experiment with new charms or spells.

Department of International Magical Cooperation
Head: Bartemius Crouch Sr. (Deceased)
Members: Percy Weasley
Purpose: To make sure all magical wizards and witches in different parts of the world stay together as one.

Department of Magical Law Enforcement
Members: ?
Purpose: This branch involves people known as "Aurors" who are in charge. They look for any suspicious activities, such as the use of Dark Magic.

Department of Magical Transportation
Purpose: To keep magical traffic (via Portkeys, Floo Powder, etc.) safe and usuable, while at the same time making sure it is not used illegally.

Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures
Members: Amos Diggorey
Purpose: To control and regulate magical creatures

Department of Mysteries
Members: Bode and Croaker, formerly Augustus Rookwood
Purpose: The people who work here are known as Unspeakables. Nobody knows what they do in this department...nobody...
