Fred and George Weasley

Fred and George Weasley are twin sons of Molly and Arthur Weasley,. They are magical inventors and practical jokers. They take great delight in annoying Percy, and love being the life of a party. Fred and George are also great explorers, and have found many of the secret passages in Hogwarts. Their first, being Gregory the Smarmy, was found during their first week at Hogwarts. However, they are legendary for their antics. Filch, caretaker at Hogwarts, has a drawer specifically for them, and Hagrid, himself, has spoken of the fact that he's spent most of his life chasing them away from the Forbidden Forest.

Fred and George always try something to get what they want. During the Tri-wizard tournament's opening ceremony, they both took an aging potion to fool an age line, Dumbledore had placed around the Goblet of Fire. The result - Two dashing, long white beards.

It is Fred and George, that Harry has to thank for having the Marauder's Map. If it were not for their inquisitiveness in seeing a drawer marked 'Confiscated and Highly Dangerous' in Filch's office, Harry would not have the possession, he highly prides.

The twins were on the Gryffindor Quidditch team as Beaters, once described as being like human bludgers themselves. Unfortunately under Umbridge's rule of the school, they played very little Quidditch in their last year, after being caught fighting with members of the Slytherin team, and getting life long bans. After this, they used most of their inventions making life miserable for Umbridge, their last deed being a portable swamp, which covered the whole of a school corridor. After being found out by Umbridge that they were behind it all, they left Hogwarts to the cheers of students.

Once they had left Hogwarts, using the Triwizards Prize money that Harry had given them, Fred and George set up their own Joke shop in Diagon Alley, called Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes.

What the future holds for Fred and George is unsure. But with the new war that has started, we are sure that these two will do their best to keep up a steady supply of ready made swamps, or fire-works, making sure nobody forgets to laugh during the dark days to come. Now they have left Hogwarts, and are of wizarding age, we may even see them join the Order. Whatever they do, we will know that whenever these two are around, light hearted fun is soon to follow.
